VeneTile Venetian mosaics are made of a polymer called polypropylene and different types of additives. These components are what give it unique properties and maximize the quality of the material.

The glue/adhesive provides the necessary chemical anchoring. At the same time, VeneTile mosaics are mechanically fixed, since when the bridges are covered by the material, it acts as an anchor preventing the detachment of the mosaic.

VeneTile venetian mosaic tiles are formulated under the highest quality standards. Our formula contains additives that provide the necessary protection against the action of ultraviolet rays and the deterioration they may suffer from contact with chemical products such as chlorine, bleach water, clarifying agents, etc. As for the passage of time, it may not retain the same color intensity over the years, as happens with any product or material in constant contact with water, chemicals and sunlight.

VeneTile siding will not scratch as long as it is properly installed. (See Installation Manual on the Home page of our web site). They do not scratch in normal daily use. It is possible that when in contact with abrasive materials (e.g. aluminum scouring pad) may wear or scratch.

Our product is designed to be placed on any type of surface that is properly prepared for this purpose. (See the User's Manual on the home page of our website). It is not recommended for use on floors and high traffic areas.

VeneTile can be installed over existing coverings if they are firm and the adhesive sticks to the tile. If necessary, the coating over which VeneTile is to be installed should be scratched or covered with a layer of a material that serves as an adherent for the adhesive to stick to.

VeneTile Venetian mosaic tiles cannot be used to line fiberglass pools because there is no glue that will adhere to the surface.

Lining your pool with our product will help prevent the generation of new cracks and crevices but will not solve problems prior to installation. Before installing VeneTile the pool must be properly repaired and waterproofed.
